What's different about showcase skating?Compete under spotlights, just like in an ice show! There is a curtain dividing the ice so there is a backstage area skaters can warm up and bring props or scenery on if needed. It's a completely different way of competing and prepares skaters should they ever get a solo in an ice show or join a profession ice show one day!
