Mission Statement

​​Onyx Theatre Troupe’s goal is to provide a skating environment where skaters can learn, develop, and express their artistic qualities.  While skating is the platform of our sport, performance is our main focus.  Our program allows skaters the unique experience of being part of a ‘team’ while showcasing their individual technical skills.  A no pressure, fun learning environment is encouraged so skaters can truly enjoy the art of skating and performing especially while in competitive situations.  We encourage skaters to be supportive, responsible and committed as well as to show team spirit, a good attitude and good sportsmanship.

Onyx Theatre Team has been a wonderful experience for our twin daughters. They have grown so much as skaters (skill set on and off the ice) as well as gained a new set of friends who share their love of skating. 
Hazel’s dedication to skating and this team is beyond words. She is a great coach as well as each of the assistant coaches
(Devin, Sam, Lexi & Alessandra). The team is special to us and I’m glad I can support it as one of the team managers.
